Founded in 1999, Southern Steel & Supply is a master distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, steel and miscellaneous piping related materials related to the oil and gas, petrochemical and shipbuilding industries. Our particular interests and strong suit is in providing the above mentioned materials to the production and construction ends of the business, upstream and downstream. We have strategic locations in New Iberia, Harvey, Fouchon and Shreveport, La., as well as, Ingleside, Nederland, Cleburne and Henderson, Texas and McAlester, OK. We have also exported material across the globe, in particular, interests in West Africa, Egypt and Venezuela, as well as serving as facilitator and asset/supply chain management on projects. We are a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week full service center. Our client base is mixed with 80% of our business spread between construction/fabrication companies, independent and major oil and gas companies and EPC companies, along with refinery and petrochemical interests. Among some of our clients are Kinder Morgan, BP, Chevron, Apache, Nexen, Nippon, EOG, Swift Energy, Stone Energy, Maritech, Denbury, Devon Energy, El Paso, Pogo and Valero just to name a few.

In addition to providing materials, Southern has a steel processing department where we cut special parts related to the above mentioned markets. Also, we have several value added service programs, among them our Stage, Store and Ship (SSS) program, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program, both geared to help manage your time and materials in order to reduce expensive downtime.
